Playboy on National TV?

Wow, I don't know why we're getting this show. While listening to the latest episode of 'Let's Do This' on Spill.com, I read that NBC's getting a new series all about the beginnings of Playboy Magazine. As if the film Middle Men didn't prove that making anything related to the beginning of porn would fail to gain a big audience. Now for those hoping for nude scenes, wait for the DVD release. There would be no way that they would be shown for the general public. My opinion: I might check it out, but I doubt it'll last more than a season.

I'll Never Be Silent! Facebook and its Complainers

Lately, I’ve been asking myself about why I have so many friends on Facebook. Most of them don’t give a care about me when I try my best to calm their fears with some kind words despite their closest friends giving them their insight. People complain on here so much that it has made my negative mind try to be the Center of Positive Thinking. Then again, I might as well shut it down because every time I comment on a photo or status, I’m called by many things: stalker and creeper to name a few. I’m none of those things since no one knows me but myself. I think that I should return back to what I did a few months ago and stop checking up on my page every day. At least people will complain about what is going on in their lives without my two cents making them feel like I’m trying to pry into their lives. My problem is that everyone should be open with the people they add to their profiles. What’s the use for me when I’m just window dressing? I’m going to be heard no matter what and I’m not going to keep quiet because you want me to do so. Now, with that settled, I hope that everyone will realize that I can be a great friend. Sure my social skills when meeting certain people before meeting them on the social network were poor but I’m not going to stop trying to be the person that you can call on when things get rough.

Another Funeral Picketing? *Rolls Eyes*

So it appears that the biggest pricks who have ever claimed to have preached the word of God are going to picket the funeral of one of the most popular celebrities who passed away earlier this week. When will the Westboro Baptist Church disperse? I'm sorry but Elizabeth Taylor doesn't need people who don't know the difference between spreading the Word of God and being disrespectful . It's like these people will never end unless the First Amendment in the Constitution gets rewritten or deleted. That would be a history changing event which would also keep most of us from expressing our opinions about certain things such as what we consider to be bad films like I've done in the last few months. I hope that there will be enough security to get rid of the church for I can't think of any reason why the church would show hatred to Ms.Taylor. Is it because she was friends with Michael Jackson who we all thought might have had an interest in young guys? Who cares? We should celebrate the life of one of the Hollywood's most popular actresses.

Kacey Jordan Bi-Losing? Yeah, I Don't Get the Joke in Sheen's 'Bi-Winning' Either.

Looks like someone's losing rather than winning. Charlie Sheen has gone through a lot from being fired from his hit CBS show to having his children taken away to becoming the icon for actors who hit a stumbling block and turned it into a money-making, entertainment news-filled machine. Now word is out about one of his Queens, Vixens, or whoever you want to call them almost took her life. For those who might have heard of the name Kacey Jordan, you spent too much time online. The 22-year old porn actress was rushed into a Chicago hospital where, from sources TMZ and on her Twitter, might have been because of her time spent with Sheen.

From her Twitter: "Those 16 hours I was with charlie sheen... messed me up... I can't get that image out of my head... I think I keep trying to feel his pain."

In my opinion, I doubt there's any pain going on in Sheen's mind. While he's fine with what has happened to him, I wonder if he has done something to her recently that led her to this state. I hope that she will recuperate and no longer has to deal with him any more (and the porn industry hopefully) and that we've learned something from all of this. Sometimes understanding someone's pain will lead you to deal with it more than the person who caused or experienced it first.

I didn't know about this story until recently. While the story goes back to February back when Ms. Lovato was finishing up in rehab/preparing videos for the fans to thank them for their support, reading about her and actor Wilmer Valderrama really made me think about my friend who was mentioned in an earlier post.

Remember the one about Jason Biggs and his phobia of his wife pole dancing? The friend mentioned in the article is also dating a guy who I believed, when first told about the relationship, was too old for her. I understand if people of different ages understand other friends or family members on an intellectual level, but still. You know that guys like me are losing out on girls like my friend and Demi because they go for the ones who have been through life longer than they have and can provide the better advice. Also, newsflash! Remember the last girl Wilmer dated? She was another Disney teen princess who has been in the news recently that began some time ago when they broke up? As long as Demi doesn't follow her path to slight destruction or turn Taylor Swift on us and write a cheesy song about the break-up, which, in my opinion, won't happen since I also want her to be happy, it's all good.

I just think that people need to date those of their own age range. There are people my age who are more mature and have their entire lives planned from now until they hit the grave. Most of them have full-time jobs, homes and cars paid off from their own paychecks, and were either self-taught or taught by other people about how to handle the difficulties life has thrown at them thus far.

Me? I'll be thankful if I'm even successful with this blog or any of my future endeavors. I wish to have everything that I stated above along with a new level of maturity where I'm not worried about not having a romantic relationship, working and not having to deal with school and be seen as a full adult besides my age. It takes character and displays of said character to prove to others that you're ready to kick the world in the balls and say that it won't stop you from being more than who you are at this moment in time.

This really took a whole lot of me. Look forward to the Paul movie review probably later in the week or whenever I feel like posting it.

Nate Dogg Dead at 41.

Although I haven't heard a lot of his music since discovering rap in 1998 after years of nothing but gospel music and Disney tunes, rapper Nate Dogg, sadly is no longer with us. He passed away in the day time of March 15th with no cause of death being given at this time.

From what I've read, he suffered a stroke back in 2008 and was recovering. However, I believe complications from said stroke got the best of him thus leading the Rap Industry to mourn for the loss.

Disney Won't Need 'Yellow Submarine'

Damn! Even MORE news I've been missing out on. I wish I was given some sources who would let me know about all of these stories so I won't be out of the loop.

For those wondering about how Robert Zemeckis was going to handle the animated remake of The Beatles' Yellow Submarine, worry no more. The path to making the film came to a complete stop after Mars Needs Moms took in a disappointing $6.9 million in its opening weekend (Go Rango!) I've never seen the original film and probably wouldn't have taken the risk of seeing the new version but hey, I thought I would let you guys know in case you haven't read anything about this already.

Biggs Not Big on the Pole, Vanity Fair's Going Down the Hole

I'm SO late with all of these stories that has appeared recently! First the Vanessa Hudgens photos and Usher sex tape. Now we have Vanity Fair apologizing for a gay slur and Jason Biggs not into pole-dancing. Riiiiight, and Biggs wasn't into having sex with a pie either.

 

First up, let's get into the pole dancing story. I have a friend who's planning to take some courses in this exercise format to, not only to become slimmer but also to build more self-confidence and also please her men. Now think about Jason's situation. He claims that his OCD makes him unable to get into the act. So for an actor who really was nervous and unsure about how to get a girl in the first American Pie only to, not only mess around with a pie, like I've said before, but scored himself an online girlfriend who ended up in the hands of another nerd in the sequel. If my friend's boyfriend was like him, while it would take the fun out of pole dancing, she would understand. Not everything thinks that going down on a pole is good exercise besides the ol' 'going down the pole' if you know what I mean. *winks* I would have been into it but hey, I hope that Biggs and his wife can come up with a compromise where they can work on pleasing each other in the bed room along with the wife, Jenny Mollen, coming up with other ways to get fit.

Next, we have to deal with Glee being in the news again. Known for themes that have been seen in other teen dramas such as teen pregnancy, bullying, and coming out of the closet, Vanity Fair issued an apology after their gay editor composed the 'Gay Guide to Glee' section when he used the common said f-word when describing the homosexual characters featured in the show. All I can say is this: if you're gay, don't you think the last thing you need to say, in any column, conversation, or even movie review, is a derogatory term that so many people have seen as offensive. Even when Spill.com used it in one of their movie reviews, while it was said in a comical fashion, most people will think that you're coming in attack to the GLBT (or however you organize these letters) community.

Another Cry for Attention? More Hudgens Photos Leaked!

Yesterday, the Internet was all a-flutter for Vanessa Hudgens. Yes, it seems that the leading lady of the much-despised film Beastly that debuted earlier this month was the subject of provocative photos that leaked featuring her fellow friend and Zoey 101 alum Alexa Nikolas. Whoever was the photographer of some of the photos, such as one with both girls kissing each other with one cupping a breast, must be happy for Hudgens career, while it has taken a tumble since the last batch of leaked photos and the end of the original High School Musical franchise (forgetting that we have to deal with the Sharpay spin-off later this year), could go downhill even more.

Alexa hasn't done much since her brief appearances in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and its spin-off but it seems that these photos are either a call of attention or an ex-friend of both ladies who want revenge from being tossed aside.  With Nikolas, she's going to be in the new film LOL featuring Miley Cyrus, another teen celeb who was also the subject of other provocative photos leaked online from her phone and the infamous Annie Lebowitz photo shoot. While I'm not going to see the film, I have asked about the whereabouts of other Zoey 101 alumni. With me focusing on the girls, Erin Saunders is on Big Time Rush. Kristin Herrera hasn't done anything since her appearances in General Hospital. We all know what happened with Jamie Lynn Spears and Victoria Justice's the most popular of them all now with Victorious still going strong on Nickelodeon. For those people who haven't seen the photos, you know I'm not going to post them here, but click the link to be disappointed. Why you may ask? Apparently, unlike the other photos of Hudgens where we saw every portion of her body, she's covered up due to the censors whoever they may be. Even the photo where it looks like Baby V's showing off her va-jay-jay is pixelated. Even after attending Dr. Gines' discussion about how porn has ruined how we perceived men and women, even I will admit that I wish that the photos weren't censored even though I've seen photos like these before.

 Here's another question that just came to mind. With these photos, could it lead to a possible disappointing Box Office opening for Hudgens' new flick Sucker Punch? While it's flashier than anything she's been (Let's pretend that 2004's Thunderbirds never happened), the film could suffer from all of the publicity degrading Vanessa's good name. Then again, maybe it can be good publicity. We'll see what happens when the film's released on March 25th.

Wow! Imagine being so desperate to sell your product that you have to stamp someone else's name to make gullible people to buy it. What if this someone else is an overrated celebrity; one who's been catching our eyes with her out-of-this-world outfits and recently promoting the message of everyone accepting who they are. Combine it with the most ridiculous food item known to man coming from a woman and BOOM! Instant gold!

How about some Lady Gaga Ice Cream? Made from female breast milk with the name of everyone's favorite entertainer, it has become the talk of the town. The problem: it could cost the creators over $81,000 if Gaga takes this case to court.

Who's Going to Prom? Not Me.

1. Couple 1: Clichéd Bad Boy/Good Girl ripping off the one from 10 Things I Hate About You.
2. Couple 2: Also ripped off 10 Things I Hate About You, the slightly less attractive beta couple to appeal to the less socially accomplished in the audience.
3. Couple 3: They are black, and therefore COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from the other two couples, despite the fact that they seem to have no plot involvement at all.
4. The Last Guy: He obviously will end the movie alone, because WHO EVER HEARD OF A NERD WITH A LIFE?

My point exactly.

After viewing the latest trailer from the U.K. to the biggest tween heartthrob movie of the year from the good folks at Disney, along with the above comment from user mylightside, on YouTube describing the film in a nutshell, I have one thing to say to those people associated with this film: Why?

Why do we even need this flick even after we’ve been through prom in High School Musical 3? As safe as that movie was back in 2008, this film seems to try its best to border between a PG and PG-13 rating. Come on guys. We know that outside of the Pirates films, Disney will NEVER shoot for a PG-13 except when the film’s being released under their other name: Touchstone Pictures.

After dealing with lawn gnomes, after three weeks, topping the box office, Disney seems to be taking one step back in mediocrity. Even if Gnomeo and Juliet became a hit among kids and families, Prom seems to be another film that I bet even John Lasseter wishes it never saw the light of day. Heck, Cars 2 is another Disney film of the year that should have been nothing more than possible animated shorts to be attached to future Pixar films. Some people were split with the first one but what does the Mouse house care about? Money.   

What does this company hope for Prom: immediate success that could lead into a possible Disney Channel Original Series where drama and comedy will mix again hoping that it won’t lead the show to die a slow death like that of Jonas and its second season Jonas L.A.

I think 2011 will continue to be Disney’s weakest year with the possibility that the Phineas and Ferb film will make me think again about the company’s success on TV. As a whole, it seems that I’ll have to hold out for hope that 2012 will be better. 

As for the last guy who’s desperately looking for a date in this film (please let it flop),

look no further than the best friend.

Hermoine's Leaving College?

To me, she has a better future than I do after college. Then again, she should stick around at her school. I bet she has been treated like royalty up there. What I'm trying to say is that I think that Ms. Watson has done so much with promoting all of the Harry Potter films after all of this time that she need to buckle down and get through her four years and topping it off with grad school. Come on, we all know that's her game plan.

Demi's Back to Work

A couple of months ago,  I wrote an opinion piece expressing my feelings about wanting actress/singer Demi Lovato to get better after dealing with everything from a break-up to potential bullying including dealing with it from the past. Now, she's back and better than ever even though I feel as if she's been blowing up (I'm not going to say where). Take a look at the video for yourself. I just wish Sonny with a Chance wasn't given a third season though. I think Demi would be better off and just focus on her music career. Other than that, she should take a long siesta.
