I can't believe this. Here we are in 2011 where some graphic t-shirts that mention us being lazy or not being interested with bad relationships are okay with being sold in stores yet this shirt (look below) is no longer in stores.
The big controversy surrounding the Interwebs about what people wear is all about a graphic t-shirt that was originally sold in J.C. Penney but was removed from stores because of something that would be seen in TV shows. The message being 'I'm Too Pretty to Do Homework So My Brother Has to Do
It For Me'. (Long message, I know.) has made people go into detail about how women don't have to "play dumb in order to be popular". If that's the case, why do we have those same characters, as mentioned before, on TV? Is it because they're easier to handle when it comes to making a show funny? If so many complaints were enough to remove this shirt out of sight, though it will exist for all etnerity because this is the Internet, we surely can bring more thrr-dimensional female characters rathrer than the archetypes we have to deal with every day especially with children's programming.
